When I first created this blog, my intent was to try to highlight webcomics that I felt were worth bringing to people’s attention, in part by providing interviews with the artists, and to pull the curtains back a bit on those comics. You know, to make the artists look a bit more human and approachable. And, to tell you, the reader, which strips I thought were worth your attention.
Well, it was a lot of work, and I think I did ok at it. But, I’m not in a position to take this site any farther along this path (that is, I’m not in the U.S., and I can’t drive around to do in-person video interviews). There’s little chance of anything changing in the foreseeable future, so I’m going to pull the plug. The contract on the domain name expires in September, and after that, it’s all over. If you want to save a particular interview with your favorite artist, now’s the time to do it.
Thanks for all the fish.
